Case Study of New Born Twin Babies Care & Post Delivery Mother Care at Home

Client: Puneet Gupta (Founder of a startup company based out of Noida UP), Wife: Mrs. Shefali Gupta (post delivery mother for whom we have provided Jappa and Nannie care support at home). Mr. Puneet Gupta is resident sector 125 of Noida. He is the founder of a startup company. His wife gave birth to twin babies. They reached out to the “Medical Care Support at Home” unit of [Chikitsa Life Healthcare]. This unit offers mother and baby care support services at home.

They hired 2 home care staff. One is a Jappa staff for post delivery mother care. The other is a Nannie staff for care support for the newborn twin. They offer services at home in Noida location for 24*7. Our trained nanny and Jappa maid started their duties in 24*7 shift at their home in Noida location. 

The core job responsibility of the nannies on the duties were:

1. Child Safety and Well-being:

• Ensuring a safe environment for children.
• Supervising children’s activities, both indoors and outdoors.  
• Providing basic first aid and care for minor illnesses.

2. Childcare Duties:

• Feeding, bathing, and dressing children.  
• Changing diapers and assisting with potty training.  
• Establishing and maintaining consistent routines (naps, meals, bedtime)

3. Household Tasks Related to Childcare:

• Preparing children’s meals and snacks.
• Tidying up children’s rooms and play areas.  
• Doing children’s laundry.

The core job responsibility of the Jappa staff  on the duties were:

1. Postpartum Mother Care:

• Providing massages to aid in the mother’s recovery.
• Assisting with bathing and personal hygiene.
• Preparing nutritious meals that support lactation and healing.
• Offering emotional support and guidance.

2. Newborn Care:

• Bathing and massaging the baby.
• Changing diapers and ensuring hygiene.
• Assisting with feeding (breastfeeding support or bottle feeding).
• Soothing and comforting the baby.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the baby.

3. Related Household Tasks:

• Washing the baby’s clothes.
• Maintaining cleanliness in areas related to the baby and mother.

Both the staff i.e. Jappa staff for post delivery mother care and newborn baby caregiver nannies did their duties with full responsibilities.
